Pickwick Consulting in association with OPS Logistics Consulting Ltd, has recently completed a 2 year project with one of the leading government worldwide logistics departments.
The contract called for a complete redefinition of the departments network needs worldwide and an review of current and past processes, operations, service providers and performance.
Working with a multi disciplined team within the department, Phil Pickwick project managed the definition and establishment of a completely re-purposed Service Level Agreement and logistics tender exercise, and, following board agreement to the new chosen provider, also project managed the transfer plan from old supplier to new supplier upto the handover back to the department during final transition.
1st November 2014 saw the launch date of the new service provider and all concerned believe the project to have been an overwhelming success.
